The story behind Amulet of Tricolor tells us that the Tricolor Amulet was created by three powerful wizards to protect the Magic Valley many years ago. Using his magic to send the fairy people of Magic Valley into a deep sleep an evil sorcerer has disturbed the Stones of Elements. Your objective is to travel through this enchanted land and use the Amulet of Tricolor to restore the Stones of Elements.
The game has nice graphics and you can choose between windowed and full screen mode. The sound effects and specially the music is a little bit dull and gets boring and even annoying really fast making the game itself boring quite rapidly. On the other hand, it’s an easy game to play and it has some original changes that makes it interesting and different from the rest of this sort of games. You can join the stones in more ways than the usual horizontal and vertical way. You can group them in differtent “L” or “U” forms, as long as it is not in a diagonal direction. You also have several fairies in the board that you have to rescue by grouping stones around them which gives the game a different approach so you are not just focused on the stones but also on the best way to group them to save all the fairies in the board. |
